Predictions are usually marketing. A more honest version is a set of pressures: cheaper software, higher house prices making percentages look absurd, and a generation that already bought cars and holidays without a local salesperson.

The durable pieces of the industry are legal transfer, finance, and the fact that a house is not a pair of shoes. Inspections, identity, and neighbourhood courtesy do not disappear because an app exists.

A plausible decade is mixed: traditional agencies still running complex stock, platforms taking straightforward campaigns, and a lot of hybrid mess in the middle. That mess is the beat.
